Troubleshooting

Solutions to the most common problems, and how to get help.

The map does not appear

  1. Is the project enabled and does it have an image? The projects list must show Enabled.
  2. Is it scheduled? Outside the Show from / Show until window on the Canvas tab the map is hidden.
  3. On the home page: check that the project is selected in Module settings → Home page project and that the hook position is not under a module that hides content. Use Top / Up / Down / Bottom to move it.
  4. In a description or CMS page: the editor may have removed the code. Open the source view: if the <div class="impro-embed …"> line is gone or lost its class, paste the code from Get code → Inside PrestaShop text (recommended) again.
  5. In a theme file: check the slug or ID in the hook and that you edited the template your theme really uses. Clear PrestaShop's cache under Advanced Parameters → Performance.
  6. Multistore: make sure the project belongs to the shop you are looking at.

Shapes or hotspots are missing

  • The shape may be hidden on this device or for this visitor: check Basic → Visibility and Visibility conditions with Responsive on.
  • A filter may be active on the map; click All.
  • A Reveal setting delays the shape until it scrolls into view.

The card does not open

The shape needs Card → Tooltip card switched on and some content. A product card without text still shows the product's price and buttons.

Shapes have no border

Borders are off by default. Turn on Border enabled in Styles → Shapes — Colors & Border, or set the shape's own Custom colors.

Image upload fails

  • Use JPG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB.
  • Check the server's PHP limits upload_max_filesize and post_max_size.
  • The folder modules/impro/uploads/ must be writable.

Visitors see an old version after an update

Since 1.8.0 updates refresh the map's files for returning visitors automatically. If you use a CDN or a caching module, clear its cache once after updating.

Add to cart does not update the cart counter

The module uses PrestaShop's own cart, so the theme's counter updates through the standard cart events. If your theme replaces them, its cart widget may need a refresh. Check the browser console for errors from other modules.

Getting help

Where to write depends on where you bought the module.

  • Bought on PrestaShop Addons: sign in to your Addons account, open My account → Support (or the module's page) and contact the developer. Requests stay tracked with your Addons order.
  • Bought on moonivo.com: use the contact form and choose PrestaShop module, or write to support@moonivo.com from the address you used for the order.

Either way, describe what you did, what you expected and what happened, and include your PrestaShop and module versions, a screenshot and the page address.

The module is licensed under AFL-3.0.

Still stuck?

Customers get support through the PrestaShop Addons contact form, so every request is tracked.
