On July 5, 2026 our first official PrestaShop module went live on the PrestaShop Addons marketplace. It is called Moonivo Image Map, and it does one thing really well: it turns ordinary images into places where people can actually buy.
Why we built it
Almost every store has them: beautiful lifestyle photos. A furnished living room, a model wearing the new collection, a banner with this season’s bestsellers. Visitors look at those photos, like what they see — and then have to go hunting through categories to find the products in them. Most never do.
That gap between seeing and buying is exactly what shoppable images close. Click the sofa in the photo, get the sofa’s card — name, live price, variants and an Add to cart button. No searching, no friction, no lost intent.
What Moonivo Image Map does
You upload an image, draw clickable areas on it — rectangles, circles, free-form polygons or pulsing hotspot dots — and connect each area to your catalog. From there the module takes over:
- Product cards show live prices, discounts and combinations, straight from your catalog, in every language your shop runs.
- A synced lookbook list can sit next to the image, with an “Add all to cart” button for the whole set.
- Filter buttons let visitors toggle groups of hotspots — say, “Living room” vs “Kitchen”.
- Scheduling shows a map or individual shapes only in a chosen date range — handy for campaigns.
- Embedding works anywhere: homepage, CMS pages, product or category descriptions, or an iframe.
Measure what actually gets clicked
A shoppable image is also a measurement tool. The module records every interaction: clicks over time, per-shape performance and cart conversions, plus a true click-density heatmap drawn over your image. If you are not sure which layout sells better, built-in A/B testing splits traffic between two variants and shows you the numbers. GA4 and Meta Pixel events are available out of the box.

Built for real stores
Moonivo Image Map works on PrestaShop 1.7.0 through 9.x, is multistore compatible and fully translatable (the admin ships in English, French, Spanish, Italian and Lithuanian). Every color, border, shadow and tooltip style is configurable, projects can be exported and imported as JSON, and a one-click backup keeps your work safe.
